The Chelsea Vineyard is located on the ancestral 43 acres farm previously owned the Hammond family of Chelsea.
The original family house, barn and log sugar shack are still standing. The previous owner bought the farm which was no longer in operation in 2010. She divided the land in lots thus creating a residential neighbourhood around the farm. She kept 22 acres and, in 2014, proceeded with the expansion of the sugar shack (adding 700 extra taps to the 200 existing ones), the plantation of 2,500 vines and the building of a dining hall directly next to the old barn.
With more than 20 years experience in events, restaurant and kitchen management, Nathalie Martin created a unique company in her image. Her love of nature, farm life, agriculture, cuisine and, above all, people is reflected in her management style, her respect for nature and the personalized service she offers her clients.
Since 2014, we welcome people to the sugar shack every spring offering delicious foods and producing our own maple syrup. We sell our maple syrup directly at the farm. The rest of the year, we organize private events such as weddings, corporate events and special events open to the public (Sunday brunch, BBQ, festivals, etc.).
We pride ourselves on the quality of our service and our food. We focus on using local produce and personalize each event to respond to the needs of our clientele.
